Project Goals

Engaging and Educational Resource Website to Support Past, Present, and Future Clients

Founder and Team Coach, Joan Lonnemann, reached out to W&R looking to create a digital presence that would better serve their growing team as she stepped away from the Real Estate industry and turned the team over to its new leader, Will Lonnemann. They needed a platform that could serve as an additional team member, providing resources, tools, and a space to share experiences with past, present, and future clients.

Responsive Website Design

Most home buyers or sellers will not initially start by Googling local agents in their area, but instead use more popular and trusted platforms like Zillow or Realtor.com, to see what’s available in their area or the area in which they are looking to move. These sites are predominately mobile, so we had to be prepared for a hugely mobile-friendly site that could easily adjust and respond from device to device, providing a consistent user experience.

Interactive Design

The goal was to create not just another online resume website, but instead a true resource for the team to utilize with their clients. This included a custom resource feed for both buyers and sellers resources, a custom free Mortgage Calculator tool, and an interactive process section to help make reviewing both their selling and buying process more fun and easier to take in.

A Modern High-Contrast Pairing

The Lonnemann Team had just gone through a big rebrand and had a refreshed look and feel, based on their original logo, that they wanted to make sure we stayed true to. Their colors and icons had all changed, but the typography of their primary logo had stayed the same. So to tie in that consistent presence their clients recognized, we maintained the modern high-contrasting pairing of their tall bold Sans-serif font with their timeless, traditional, italic Serif font.

Color Palette

That “Welcome Home” Feel

The team had just gotten an updated logo design which included a new color palette. We then expanded upon their new colors to create a warm and welcoming feel to their website colors. Staying neutral and grounded with our soft beige while allowing for a fun warm pop of red in our calls to action and buttons. The gray-blue acted almost like the interior paint of a home and helped break up text sections, making things easier to scan and review through the scroll.
