I’m ready to book. Now what?
Excellent! The first step is to reach out through our Contact page inquiry form. From there you’ll receive a link to schedule your first design consult with us where we’ll get to know each other, your business, your design needs and make sure we’re the right team for you.
How many projects do you take on at a time?
We only take on between 1 to 2 projects at a time to ensure that your business receives the attention to detail and energy needed to accomplish all work on time and at the highest quality.
How soon should I book with you?
As we only take on 1 to 2 projects at a time, we often book our projects out between 3-4 months out. So the sooner the better in order to get the most ideal spot in our schedule. While we may book out months in advance, this allows us to organize and prepare our projects as thoroughly as possible so that once we begin the design process, we’re able to move quite quickly.
What is your payment process?
All Brand Design projects are broken down into two installments. 50% upfront upon booking, and 50% upon project completion. All Website Design projects are broken down into three installments. ⅓ upfront upon booking, ⅓ by the start date of your project, and ⅓ at the end of the project, just before launch.
What package is right for me?
Excellent question. We always like to get to know you and your business before we submit a project proposal so that we are sure you are getting exactly what you need. While we begin with set packages, we work with you to expand and build up the perfect package for you.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my package?
Once a project is booked, we don’t downgrade as we schedule our bookings based on the scale of our projects. But we can always build up. We believe in building in phases – starting with what you need right now, but strategizing and planning for what you want to do in the future.
What if I need a more custom package?
While we begin with set packages, we work with you to expand and build up the perfect package for you. Our base packages are what we know are the bare minimum in order to provide you with the most effective starting point. But we encourage you to bring your dream wish list so that we can build a unique package to best fit your needs.
Do you offer à la carte website design services?
In short – yes and no. We offer à la carte design services to our past clients. We love to extend our relationships with our clients and collaborate again and again as your design needs change and grow.
How often will we meet during the design process?
While each package includes a minimum set of design meetings (which will be outlined in your project’s proposal) this is entirely up to you. We make sure that we are available to you as much or as little as you need during your design project.
What am I responsible for?
This varies from project to project, but all client responsibilities will be discussed during your initial consultation call and project’s strategy session so that you and everyone included in your project knows exactly what is expected and when things are due.
How many design revisions do I get?
Each brand design package includes a set number of design revisions based on our past experience with clients so that we make sure you are only paying for exactly the time that you need. But, if you find that you need more revisions, that is 100% ok. Any revisions beyond your package’s included amount are billed at our hourly rate of $100/hr until you are in love with your final designs. Website projects have unlimited edits until a set date (which will be included in your project’s proposal) so that you are as confident as possible before launch.
How will I receive my final design files?
Brand Design project files will be delivered via a shared Dropbox folder once your final payment has cleared. This allows you to access your new designs right away and start implements everything as soon as you want. For all U.S. clients, you’ll also receive a USB drive of all designs delivered post project via USPS mail.
What is expected of me as a client?
While each project will have a specific list of responsibilities, the number one expectation we have for our clients is their investment into the project. Once we begin your project, we ask that you be sure that you are available and accessible for edits, revisions, and feedback.
How do I get in touch with you during our project?
During your project, you’ll have unlimited email and phone call access to us so that you can get in touch with us whenever you need during our open business hours. We can also jump on a video call at any point and meet face-to-face to discuss any of your design needs or throughts.
What happens after we’re done? What’s next?
While each project does have an end date, we love to extend our relationships with our clients. Just because your project may end, we will always be here for extended support or special projects as needed. We will discuss all next-step options together just before the end of your project.
