urbAna is the elegant Arcadia home goods store for passionately curated luxury gifts, artisan decor items, party goods, entertaining decorations, and designer furnishings. They are dedicated to helping their customers elevate and savor the cherished occasions of their life. They believe in elegant hosting and creating opportunities to slow down and truly connect with friends, family, and neighbors.

Project Goals
Unite Two Separate Platforms into One Seamless High-End Shopping Experience
urbAna owners Ana and Brian Wells reached out to Whiskey and Red to help them rebrand and completely rework their online eCommerce experience. They were devoted to their POS system that allowed awesome financial tracking, but not the most customizable shopping experience, and no way to showcase their other more custom shopping opportunities, interior designer collaborations, and bridal registry system. Working with both WordPress and their POS LightSpeed, we created two sites that would work together to create the perfect online shopping experience for their local Phoenix clients and beyond.
Responsive Website Design
We started urbAna’s project right at the start of the COVID pandemic. The restriction of their in-store clients made their online presence more critical than ever. Ensuring that their loyal customers could continue to shop their favorite home goods store from the safety of their home was critical to the success of the website. We designed mobile-first every step of the way to make sure that both shopping experiences were as consistent and seamless as possible. The addition of a customer chat box was also added in to allow online shoppers to engage directly with Brian or Ana in real-time, maintaining that white glove brand experience they are known for here in Phoenix.

Custom Bridal Registry
Their previous registry platform was completely manual on their end and limited their brides’ ability to access, register and edit their own registries. With COVID occurring right at the start of this project, it was glaringly clear that in order for this program to expand, the functionality of their registry services also needed to expand and better address the digital needs of their brides. We partnered with a software development company to create a registry experience that would allow full access to their brides, eliminate almost all manual efforts on their end, and allow for Brian and Ana to spend more time communicating with their brides and ensuring the most personal registry experience.
Furniture Sales
One of the more understated sides of urbAna’s business was their interior design services and furniture warehouse. We created a new area of the site, dedicated to these services. From a custom inquiry form for a free interior design consultation, showcasing of their local Phoenix interior design partners, and streamlined access to their full furniture warehouse, they now have a dedicated platform to better market this area of their brand.
Color Palette
A Timeless Black & White Palette with a Touch of Gold
What is more timeless than black and white? With so many absolutely beautiful pieces to showcase on their website, and the need to have a brand identity that would easily adapt to the ever-changing trends and styles of home goods and interior design styles, we helped urbAna create a timeless black and white palette to maintain maximum longevity with a touch of brushed gold in order to accent the A in their name and add an elevated feel to their brand identity.
